From Night 1 of The Golden Bachelor it was clear that 72-year-old Gerry Turner had some serious chemistry with contestant Theresa Nist.

After exiting the limo, the 70-year-old Financial Services Professional from Shrewsbury, New Jersey, walked up to Turner wearing a black robe, announced it was her birthday, and opened the robe to show him her “birthday suit.” The suit turned out to be a flesh-colored dress, because she had six grandsons watching at home! But her personality resonated with Turner, and later in the night he surprised her with a birthday cupcake, some serious flirting, and a steamy make-out session (complete with cupcake frosting).

From the looks of The Golden Bachelor previews, it seems Theresa and Gerry get a one-on-one date down the line.

According to Theresa’s official ABC bio, she’s “a gorgeous catch with a huge heart” who loves seeing her kids and grandkids thrive.

“Theresa describes herself as optimistic, encouraging, and ready to love again after loss,” the bio reads. “She hopes to meet a partner who will be her best friend in this next chapter of life and will appreciate all the little moments with her. When she’s not spending time with her family, Theresa enjoys playing board games, gardening, reading romance novels, and hula hooping.”
