On Wednesday (Oct. 11), which would have marked the late Luke Perry‘s 57th birthday, his Beverly Hills 90210 co-star Tori Spelling honored him with a throwback picture of the two of them.

Perry, who tragically died at age 52 in March 2019 following a “massive stroke,” starred on 90210 as Dylan McKay alongside Spelling, who played Donna Martin on the teen soap.

“Could be a million people in the room but he always made you feel like you were the only one,” Spelling wrote on her Instagram story, which featured a snapshot of her laughing while dancing with Perry. “Good kind humans are a rare breed. I don’t know that many sadly. He was one. Happy Birthday. Missing You Always.”

Spelling’s Donna and Perry’s Dylan starred in all ten seasons of the FOX teen drama, which ran from 1990 until 2000. The Beverly Hills 90210 cast honored Perry in August 2019 during the launch of its reboot, BH90210, which was canceled just two months after its first six episodes, per TVLine.

In the debut episode of the reboot, the cast came together (without Perry) for the show’s 30th anniversary, where Spelling spoke about the impact made by the entire cast, including Perry.

“We’re not all going to be here forever,” she said. “But we made something that will be.”

Spelling also paid tribute to Perry on Instagram on what would have been his 55th birthday in 2021, per The Daily Mail, writing at the time that he is “missed so much.”

“Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you,” she shared. “You were one of a kind. I remember meeting you as a young insecure teen girl. You were the first boy to ever make me feel worth as a human, a female , and a comedienne.”

Beverly Hills 90210 is streaming on Prime Video and Paramount+.
