Well, there won’t be another afterparty for The Afterparty.

Apple TV+ has revealed that the popular genre-hopping comedic murder mystery series has been canceled after two seasons. The news comes just over a month after the show concluded its second season.

The series was created by Chris Miller, who executive produces along with his producing partner Phil Lord, and not only switched genre’s each episode, but also character’s point of view.

Starring Zoë Chao, Sam Richardson and Tiffany Haddish, who appeared in both seasons, Season 2 centered around a wedding that gets ruined once the groom is found dead. In addition to the above, Season 2 also starred John Cho, Paul Walter Hauser, Ken Jeong, Anna Konkle, Poppy Liu, Elizabeth Perkins, Jack Whitehall, Zach Woods and Vivian Wu.

According to TVLine, who broke the news, viewing data for The Afterparty isn’t public (as with most streaming series). During its run, however, the show didn’t crack the top 10 original streaming series in Nielsen’s rankings.

Anthony King and Miller served as co-showrunners for the second season and executive produce with Lord, via the duo’s Lord Miller banner. Michael Cedar, Aubrey Lee (senior vp television at Lord Miller) and Bridger Winegar are producers.
