Will There Be a Season 8 of ‘Rick and Morty’?

What a time to be an animation fan. Bob’s Burgers recently returned for its 14th season (the next new episode airs Sunday, October 22 on FOX), Dan Harmon’s Krapopolis debuted in September and has already been renewed for two more seasons, and now, finally, Rick and Morty has returned to Adult Swim!

The Season 7 premiere aired last night on the network, but the next-day streaming options for the beloved series are a little tricky. Seasons 1-6 of Rick and Morty are currently available on Hulu and Max, but that doesn’t mean that the new Season 7 episodes will be available on Monday morning.

When Does Rick and Morty Season 7 Premiere?

The first episode of Season 7 (“How Poopy Got His Poop Back”) premiered last night (October 15) on Adult Swim. New episodes debut Sunday nights at 11:00 p.m. ET on Adult Swim.

Is Rick and Morty Season 7 on Hulu or Max?

Nope. Seasons 1-6 of Rick and Morty are currently streaming on both Hulu and Max, but Season 7 episodes won’t be available for next-day streaming on either platform.

You can, however, watch new episodes of Rick and Morty on demand via YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DirectTV Stream, and Sling TV.

When Will Rick and Morty Season 7 Be on Hulu And Max?

*** UPDATE (12/21/23): Rick and Morty Season 7 premieres January 22, 2024, on Max and Hulu! ***

No official release date has been announced, but Adult Swim has said that the “new season will also be available to stream in 2024.”

The sixth season finale of Rick and Morty aired in December 2022 on Adult Swim and debuted in May 2023 on Hulu and Max. If the show follows a similar streaming schedule, the seventh season, which is set to conclude in December of 2023, would drop in May of 2024 on Hulu and Max.

Rick and Morty Season 7 Next-Day Streaming Info:

The Season 7 premiere should be available to stream on the Adult Swim website and Adult Swim app. Per Adult Swim, “new episodes will be available for purchase from digital retailers the day after they premiere on Adult Swim.”

Based on the above info, new episodes will most likely be available to purchase on Amazon, iTunes, and various digital retailers.
