The internet may be losing its mind over the state of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith‘s marriage, but the Smiths seem to be having their fun with it.

Smith shared an “official statement” to his Instagram on Tuesday, seemingly addressing the recent news that he and his wife had been secretly separated for almost seven years.

“I got something for you. Here’s the thing: My opinion is…,” he says in the clip, before eventually trailing off into a theatrical sneeze. The video then zooms out, showing landscapes from across the world, with no actual statement to be seen from Smith.

This isn’t the first time Smith has trolled those who may be waiting for an “official response” from him.

This past weekend, Smith shared another video amid the ongoing news cycle with the caption, “Notifications off :),” that showed him sleeping on a boat while notifications pinged on his phone.

Pinkett Smith recently revealed she and Smith had been secretly separated for seven years despite letting the public believe otherwise. But she more recently confirmed during an appearance on Today that they were finally working on getting back together.

“We’re in the most beautiful place. I will never leave Will’s side. Ever,” Pinkett Smith told Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. “But, just like I explained to you yesterday, I’m not putting it in that box, I worked so hard to dismantle all the romanticism, and I just want to love Will as he is. I don’t want to put him in any boxes, and I don’t want to be put in a box. And, let me tell you, it’s been beautiful.”

But Smith’s lack of response is troubling fans, many of which are beginning to view him as a victim in the situation. Even the ladies of The View had their own two cents to share yesterday (Oct. 17) regarding the pair’s ever-changing relationship, echoing the feelings of many across social media.

“I mean, he sits there and takes it,” Joy Behar said of Smith, but Sunny Hostin seemed to disagree, saying she believes Smith “really loves” his estranged wife.

“You’re confusing love with masochism,” Behar responded.

This news came to light ahead of the release of Pinkett Smith’s memoir Worthy, which documents her childhood in Baltimore to becoming an actress and mother of two.

The buzzy memoir is now available for purchase, if fans want to learn more about their controversial relationship.
