Are you in search of an inspiring movie that’s based on a true story? Look no further than Sight — which is coming to theaters this week. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can watch this new flick!

Starring Terry Chen and Greg Kinnear, Sight follows Dr. Wang’s journey from his poor childhood in communist China to becoming a renowned eye surgeon in America who eventually develops a technology that “restores sight in millions of people,” according to the film’s logline.

So, where can you watch Sight? Is it on Prime Video? What about Netflix?

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

**WHERE TO WATCH SIGHT:**

As of now, the only way to watch Sight is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Oct. 27. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.

WHEN WILL SIGHT BE STREAMING? WILL SIGHT BE ON PRIME VIDEO?

Since a digital release date for Sight has not yet been announced, we can make an educated guess on when the movie will come to digital platforms like Prime Video based on a previous film distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment. The Hill became available to rent or purchase about three weeks after its theatrical debut. If Sight follows the same trajectory, we could be watching it from the comfort of our living rooms by mid-November 2023.

WILL SIGHT BE ON HBO MAX?

No, Sight will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.

WILL SIGHT BE ON NETFLIX?

No, Sight will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. While it’s possible the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms in the meantime.
