Ramona Singer has reportedly been axed from this year’s BravoCon after using a racial slur in a text message to a Page Six reporter. The news comes mere days before the convention is set to kick off in Las Vegas on Friday (Nov. 3).

The Real Housewives of New York City alum responded to Page Six’s coverage of a bombshell Vanity Fair report that exposed more details about her alleged racist remarks — including the accusation that she used the N-word in a conversation with a Black producer.

In the message to the reporter, Singer — who attempted to defend herself — wrote, “And the word I used was ‘NWord’ Not n-g…”

Hours following the text exchange, Singer’s name was removed from the BravoCon app and a source exclusively confirmed to Page Six that she would no longer be attending the event, where she was slated to promote Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.

Earlier this week, Vanity Fair published an investigation into Bravo — and, more specifically, the RHONY franchise. According to Eboni K. Williams, who was the first Black cast member on the series, Singer said “most” Black children don’t have present fathers during a virtual education session with the cast ahead of Season 13. The story was later corroborated by former RHONY star Leah McSweeney, who was also present at the training.

Another production source alleged that Singer said Black people would “ruin” the show after getting into a heated fight with Williams, while a former senior producer claimed the reality star used the N-word in a conversation with her.

While complaints were filed against Singer at the time, results of an internal investigation ultimately came back “inconclusive.” She has since denied all of the allegations.

As for what Bravo plans to do with the highly anticipated RHUGT: RHONY Legacy, only time will tell. Singer is set to appear in the series’ fourth installment alongside Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Kristen Taekman.

Decider has reached out to reps for Singer, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
