Drew Barrymore has been getting emotional all week on The Drew Barrymore Show, so today she brightened the mood with something a little lighter.

During a discussion of today’s headlines, Barrymore and Ross Mathews discussed a Los Angeles Times report that suggests that Taylor Swift‘s presence at NFL games has led to an improvement in Travis Kelce‘s game play. The report stated that when Swift is in attendance, Kelce averages 99 yards per game, while he only averages 46.5 yards when “left to his own devices.”

Assuming that this stat has any merit or affects the Chief’s success his season, Barrymore decided to help their cause by mapping out a way for Swift to attend the 2024 Super Bowl which is scheduled for February 11, 2024.

(Assuming she and Kelce are still together at that time, and assuming the Chiefs make it that far, and assuming that she even wants to go, of course).

Barrymore whipped out a handwritten white board with her own handwriting scrawled across it, and then asked, “What if Travis did go to the Super Bowl?” She showed Mathews her notes, continuing, “So it turns out that Taylor Swift, on Feb. 10, is doing a show in Tokyo… So if she left Tokyo at midnight, she would arrive somewhere in Las Vegas around 11 am on Feb. 10, the flight time is 11 hours and 35 minutes from Tokyo to Vegas… and so she really could make it to the Super Bowl.”

Barrymore added that she already checked the Tokyo to L.A. flight schedule in case Swift prefers to fly into LAX, and luckily for the pop star, that flight gets in at 5:50, easily allowing her to make it to Vegas in time for kickoff.

“BUT! No pressure,” Barrymore laughed as she finished up her elaborate plans. Mathews told his co-host, “I am so impressed,” before quipping with a laugh, “But also, get a life.”

Quick suggestion for Barrymore: Have you considered bringing on Expo white board markers as a sponsor? It just feels like a match made in heaven.
