Real Housewives of New York City alum Ramona Singer has denied any wrongdoing after an explosive report from Vanity Fair alleged she made multiple racist remarks and used a racial slur while working on the show.

According to TMZ, sources close to the matter claim Singer is “upset” that she has been once again accused of racism after an internal investigation at Bravo cleared her of such allegations in 2021. The sources also claimed that “she is not racist in any capacity” and the recent reports have been “been blown way out of proportion.”

The unnamed sources also claimed Singer insisted that she “always liked” her co-star Eboni K. Williams, who accused Singer in the Vanity Fair investigation of making a racist remark ahead of RHONY Season 13.

Willams and RHONY alum Leah McSweeney claimed Singer had said of Black people during a virtual education training, “What if they don’t have a father? Why can’t I say that? Most of them don’t.”

In response to the claim, Singer told Vanity Fair, “The training included ‘open dialogue.’ In that spirit, I asked a question about a statistic I had read about single-parent households, where children with single-parent households were statistically less likely to succeed than two-parent households.”

Singer was also accused of using a racial slur while speaking to a Black production member working on RHONY. In another instance, she reportedly said, “This is why we didn’t need Black people on the show … This is gonna ruin our show,'” after Williams got into a fight with her and cast member Luann de Lesseps. She has since denied both claims.

“In fact, I supported adding diverse cast members well before Eboni was added,” she told Vanity Fair, referring to Williams.

The Real Housewives of New York was replaced with an entirely new cast after Season 13, though Singer and some of her fellow housewives found a new home with Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.

After the Vanity Fair report came out, Singer was axed from BravoCon, though TMZ claims her departure had more to do with her texting a racial slur to a Page Six reporter than it did with the racism allegations detailed in the magazine’s report.

This is not the first time Singer has faced allegations such as these. The reality star was investigated by Bravo HR after Williams and a crew member filed complaints against her. The results of the internal investigation reportedly came back “inconclusive,” and Singer has since denied these allegations.
