Where Is Michael Strahan Today On ‘Good Morning America’?

Good Morning America kicked off on Monday (Nov. 6) with many familiar faces, but Michael Strahan was once again noticeably missing from the daytime news show.

Hosts Robin Roberts and George Stephanopolous were instead joined by ABC anchor Linsey Davis.

Monday marks almost two weeks since Strahan has been missing from GMA. The former pro athlete also hasn’t made an appearance on Fox NFL Sundays (which he regularly hosts from Los Angeles) throughout his absence, either. He has also barely posted on social media; his last post, shared on Oct. 25, promoted The $100,00 Pyramid but made no mention about his impending absence.

Concerned fans have begun to wonder where he is after he failed to appear on any of his regular hosting gigs. Even last week’s episode of The $100,00 Pyramid was pre-recorded.

One viewer wrote on X, “@GMA just curious where’s @michaelstrahan? we haven’t seen him for the last week and a half?”

“Missing @michaelstrahan on @NFLonFOX again this week. I don’t think Curt addressed it at the top of the show. Hope all is well,” another fan wrote.

Where Is Michael Strahan On GMA? Why Is Michael Strahan Missing From Fox NFL Sunday?

Michael Strahan has been MIA from GMA since Thursday, Oct. 26.

However, Strahan is regularly absent from Good Morning America on Mondays since he travels each week to host Fox NFL Sundays from Los Angeles.

According to fans who tuned into Sunday’s (Nov. 5) broadcast of Fox NFL Sundays, co-host Curt Menefee said Strahan was away dealing with a “personal family matter.”

But the GMA host has been absent for some time now. Just last Friday, he and Roberts were both missing from the show, but it appears that Roberts had been traveling to New Orleans. Strahan has not yet publicly addressed his absence.

For now, it is still unclear when Strahan should be expected back on the show. Decider has reached out to GMA for more information, but did not hear back by time of publication.

Considering football season remains a busy time for the former athlete, fans should certainly expect him back on the daytime news show soon. In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for his return to GMA and Fox NFL Sundays.
