Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have two very different ideas of what life will look like after the other is gone.

On this morning’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Consuelos pulled out a life expectancy table that estimated his wife and co-host would live four-and-a-half years longer than him.

“So what are you going to do with those four-and-a-half extra years?” Consuelos quipped.

Ripa proceeded to riff off a long list of ideas.

“The rooms will be heated at a temperature where I feel comfortable,” she said, noting “78 degrees” as an appropriate temperature.

Consuelos interjected that he would be “rolling over in [his] grave,” which Ripa affirmed.

Noting that he would be “twisting,” she continued, “The television will always be on the channel I choose [and] the lights will be on, even if I’m not in the room.”

Consuelos pointed out “that’s not responsible,” but Ripa continued her rant.

“When I air condition the room, I will open the door and let the air out like I’m air conditioning the whole neighborhood!” she joked.

The two began to call out and make light of their pet peeves about each other.

“When I speak, he — and I suspect some of you gentleman who I’m staring at right now — also don’t listen to a word I’m saying!” she exclaimed to the audience.

Consuelos claimed that Ripa reciprocates this lack of listening, but that he chooses not to call her out because he’s “evolved.”

“I’m an evolved human! I know that the capacity there is limited to hear all the stuff,” he added, which received some pushback from the audience.

Ripa retorted, “You’re not that evolved!”

Although Consuelos said he’s set out to beat that 26 years he allegedly has left — thanks to all of the “supplements and vitamins” he takes — Ripa asked him what he is going to do “if something should happen” to her first.

He replied, “I will wear black — like those little ladies in Sicily — for the rest of my life.”

Ripa teased, “Do you think your new wife that you meet at my viewing will object to that?”

Consuelos, between bursts of laughter, managed to shoot back, “Well, she’ll just be getting out of college, so I’ll see if she can make it in between classes.”

A hysterical Ripa blurted out, “Oh my god! I hope I go first so I can haunt you!”
