Based on Marvel Comics, The Marvels is a continuation of the Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel, which stars Brie Larson. It follows Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, whose powers become entangled with two other superheroes while investigating a wormhole connected to Kree.

WHERE TO WATCH THE MARVELS:

As of now, the only way to watch The Marvels is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Nov. 10. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube, and Amazon, or becomes available to stream on Disney+. UPDATE 1/19/24: The Marvels was released on digital platforms on Tuesday, Jan. 16.

WILL THE MARVELS BE ON DISNEY PLUS?

Yes, The Marvels will eventually stream on Disney+. While there’s no official release date just yet, most movies make their way to the streaming platform about 90 days after they release in theaters. If The Marvels follows the same trajectory, you might be able to watch from the comfort of your couch by mid-February 2024.

UPDATE 2/2/23: The Marvels will begin streaming on Disney+ on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
