The Morning Show Season 3 finale, “The Overview Effect,” finally reveals why UBA lost its signal during the Hyperion space shuttle launch all the way back at the start of the season, who actually was responsible for the hack that caused hell for Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon), and whether or not Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) would be together forever with billionaire boyfriend Paul Marks (Jon Hamm). However The Morning Show Season 3 Episode 10 leaves fans of the Apple TV+ show asking themselves one major question: did an original main character just walk off the show and into FBI detention???

**Spoilers for The Morning Show Season 3 Episode 10 “The Overview Effect,” now streaming on Apple TV+**

More specifically, did Reese Witherspoon quit Apple TV+’s The Morning Show?!?

While some of you might think that’s a dumb question — after all, Reese Witherspoon is not only one of The Morning Show‘s big stars, but she’s also an executive producer — it’s completely possible that the movie star/entrepreneur/Oscar winner/book club founder is angling to spend more time away from the mire of The Morning Show. That could be why The Morning Show Season 3 ends with Bradley Jackson nobly turning herself into the Feds, alongside ne’er-do-well brother Hal (Joe Tippett), for her involvement in covering up Tad’s actions during the January 6 insurrection.

Maybe Bradley will get off early for good behavior in time for Season 4 or maybe there will be a big time jump. Perhaps we’ll get a whole storyline about Bradley’s time in the slammer or maybe, just maybe, Witherspoon is out, y’all!

Of course that’s not the only question you might have about the ending of The Morning Show Season 3. Like how exactly did Alex outmaneuver everyone else on the show? Is Paul a down and out dirty dog, with no redeeming qualities? And will there be a Morning Show Season 4?Here’s everything you need to know about the end of The Morning Show Season 3 and what it means for Season 4…

The Morning Show Season 3 Ending Explained: How Alex Levy Beat Boyfriend Paul Marks At His Own Game:

For most of The Morning Show Season 3, Alex Levy has been blissfully embarking on a romance with handsome billionaire Paul Marks. They’ve visited Coney Island together, had incredible Hamptons sex, and even plotted overthrowing cable news as we know it to rebuild media as Alex sees fit. The honeymoon phase comes to a screeching end when Alex figures out that Paul has indeed been surveilling Bradley and everyone else at UBA. A simple dummy text to Bradley helps prove Paul’s complicity, sending Alex on the hunt for a new strategy.

Realizing that no matter what, Paul and Hyperion have the power to gobble up UBA, Alex uses NBN anchor Laura Peterson (Julianna Margulies) as a go-between between the board members on her side and NBN. She crashes the big board meeting wherein Paul believes he’s taking control to offer a different vision for the future of UBA: one that merges with rival network NBN. She presents it as a “true partnership” while staring down Paul, who immediately wants a word outside the boardroom.

When Paul argues that he has the votes, she brings former Hyperion employee Kate (Natalie Morales) into the fray. Stella (Greta Lee) reveals that Kate has shared that she was ordered to shut off the UBA transmission during the shuttle launch to cover for the fact that Hyperion’s navigational systems were crummy. He then hacked UBA to cover up the tracks of his company’s failing and to better position a purchase of the company.

Paul tells Alex in private that he’s done all this to protect her and everything they’ve been working towards. He offers to delay the vote, but it’s not enough for Alex. She’s horrified that he spied on Bradley and then blackmailed her into quitting her job. Alex tells Paul what she wants is for him to walk away from UBA and to come clean to NASA about the bad data he’s been sending them. If he doesn’t, she threatens to run the story and end Hyperion. Paul pulls out of the deal and leaves, letting Alex know she’ll hear from his lawyers.

Two weeks later, Alex finds Paul at her apartment, packing up the last of his possessions left there, and Bradley finds herself interrogated by the FBI…

Is Reese Witherspoon Leaving The Morning Show?

We don’t know yet! All we know is that The Morning Show Season 3 ends with Alex bidding her bestie Bradley adieu as the latter prepares to turn herself into the FBI for her crimes. Both Bradley and brother Hal are about to bravely — is it brave, though, to skirt justice for as long as possible? — surrendering themselves to the authorities and an upbeat cover of Bob Marley and the Wailer’s “Three Little Birds” plays, promising that every little thing’s gonna be alright. So is this the end for Reese Witherspoon on The Morning Show? Probably not…

Just because Bradley Jackson is heading for jail, that doesn’t mean her storyline on The Morning Show is necessarily coming to an end. We could see Bradley in prison next season or dealing with an early release.

Even if Witherspoon doesn’t return to The Morning Show as an actor, we know she’ll still be involved behind-the-scenes as an EP, per an official press release announcing the fourth season…

Is Apple TV+ Making The Morning Show Season 4?

Yes, there will be a fourth season of The Morning Show! All the way back on May 1, 2023, Apple announced that they had ordered The Morning Show Season 4 months ahead of the show’s Season 3 debut. That’s the level of confidence Apple TV+ has in this show!

While it’s unclear how The Morning Show Season 4 will handle Bradley Jackson’s latest storyline, Reese Witherspoon is still one of the show’s executive producers and top-billed stars. That suggests that no matter what Bradley Jackson is doing next season, Reese Witherspoon will still be totally involved.

Here’s hoping we get a UBA+ show of Bradley live-streaming her jail experience.
