RFK Jr. Makes ‘The View’ Recoil With His Barefoot Visit To Airplane Bathroom: “You Can’t Unsee It”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. didn’t earn any extra votes from the Hot Topics table after The View panelists got a glimpse at his barefoot airplane trip. On this morning’s episode of the daytime talk show, the co-hosts were united in disgust by the 2024 hopeful’s shoeless journey in the sky.

The independent candidate was snapped walking down the aisle barefoot on a Nov. 2 American Airlines flight, per TMZ. He reportedly went to the plane bathroom without socks or shoes on, which stirred up plenty of nausea amongst the co-hosts.

“You can’t unsee it. And for a man who is so concerned about what he puts into his body, he’s gonna need a tetanus shot after that flight,” Sara Haines said, referring to Kennedy’s anti-vax history.

Sunny Hostin agreed, saying, “It is so disgusting,” before admitting, “I used to think it was folklore that you could actually get infections in your feet.”

She explained, “My father was raised down south, so he would always say when my kids would want to walk out into the grass without their shoes, ‘Oh no, no, no, don’t do that, because you can get an infection in your foot.’ And I was like, ‘That’s some southern stuff,’ and I asked my doctor husband, and he was like, ‘Oh no, that’s true.’ Any tiny cut on the bottom of your foot can lead to staph infections, can lead to all sorts of terrible infections.”

Haines suggested, “In that bathroom it could be Hep B, or C,” while Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed in, “No one wants to see your bare feet.”

Hostin then asked, “Do you know what’s in that bathroom?” and while she offered up the comment incredulously — and rhetorically — that didn’t stop Whoopi Goldberg from replying anyway. She quipped, “You know what’s not in that bathroom? Me.”

The photo of Kennedy was taken by conservative commentator Justin Haskins, who said that he spotted the presidential candidate traveling from Portland to Dallas and walking barefoot amongst “food and debris” on the airplane floor, per TMZ.

Although he’s received his fair share of backlash from the Hot Topics table and beyond, Kennedy has yet to comment on the incident.
