Tristan Thompson Takes Full Responsibility For Cheating With Jordyn Woods On ‘The Kardashians’: “I Was A F***ing Idiot”

It’s been four years since Tristan Thompson was caught smooching Kylie Jenner‘s former BFF Jordyn Woods while he was still in a relationship with Khloé Kardashian — and the NBA player is finally apologizing to Jenner for his “idiot” move.

On the most recent episode of The Kardashians — titled “Not Forgotten, Not Forgiven” — Thompson continues his redemption tour with the Kardashian clan. First up to bat is Jenner, who admits she’s “a little nervous” to have the “long overdue” conversation with Thompson.

“Everyone got affected differently, but I think you were affected the most by a situation with losing a sister basically,” he says. “You lost Jordyn, who was a big part of your life. I know how much she meant to your life and your guys’ connection — you guys were two peas in a pod.”

Thompson continues, “The fact that I put myself and her in a situation that wasn’t right and wasn’t smart, made it tough for you and Khloé. Because at the end of the day, you have your best friend and then you have your sister, who you love more than anything else. It’s 100% on me. I want to say I’m sorry and I feel bad about it.”

Thompson was first caught cheating on Kardashian days before she gave birth to their first child, True, in 2018. The Good American founder decided to stay with the father of her children — though they split the following year after he cheated again with Woods, thus putting a wrench in the model’s longtime friendship with Jenner.

“The fact that I came with my poor decisions and being a fucking idiot and just being young and stupid, I wanted to say I’m sorry again for that,” Thompson tells Jenner. “Life is so short and it sucks because even though we made our mistakes, sometimes it’s hard to come back from situations like that.”

Jenner thanks the athlete for apologizing, before admitting that space was likely a good thing for her friendship with Woods.

“I think I was so codependent with Jordyn that I could’ve never imagined my life without her,” she says. “We would’ve probably still been living together. And I think she needed to grow without me [and] I needed to grow without her.”

According to Jenner, she and Woods — who experienced her fair share of public ire from the Thompson tryst — are “cool” these days, and they “still talk and catch up.” Still, Thompson claims full responsibility for their scandal — and acknowledges how it affected Woods’ reputation.

“Let her know I apologize. She went through a lot during that time too,” he says. “I’m the reason why that relationship went a different direction. I want to make sure I say it to you and let you know because it is — I was a fucking idiot.”
