Haunted Mansion actress Tiffany Haddish was charged with driving under the influence early Friday (Nov. 24) morning after she allegedly fell asleep behind the wheel in Beverly Hills.

TMZ reports cops responded to a call placed around 5:45 am about someone stopped on Beverly Drive who appeared to be “slumped over the wheel while the car was running.” Haddish was performing at The Laugh Factory on Thursday (Nov. 24) night as part of the club’s 43rd annual Thanksgiving feast.

Despite reports claiming she fell asleep behind the wheel, she was not involved in an accident.

The outlet notes she is expected to be released later today.

This is not the first time Haddish has been busted for driving under the influence, nor is it the first time she’s been busted for falling asleep behind the wheel.

The Girls Trip star was arrested for DUI in January 2022 in Georgia. At the time, police responded to a call reporting someone sleeping behind the wheel. They reportedly found her pulling into a neighborhood. At the time, the police believed she was under the influence of marijuana.

She was charged with driving under the influence and improperly stopping on a roadway. Soon after she was booked, she posted a $1,666 bond and was released later that same morning.

Haddish is set to appear in court Dec. 4 for her 2022 arrest.

The comedian addressed the arrest during an appearance on The Tonight Show, where she told Jimmy Fallon, “I can say this Jimmy, I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man, a good man and God went ahead and sent me four in a uniform. I wasn’t expecting it.”

She continued, “I got a really great lawyer and we’re gonna work it out. And I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better.”

There is no word yet on whether Haddish will be facing additional charges for this morning’s arrest, or if she will be expected to appear in court.
