‘The View’s Sunny Hostin Suggests Ana Navarro Could Date Her Son If She Were “Younger”

Ana Navarro may be referring to Sunny Hostin as her mother-in-law this holiday season. On this morning’s episode of The View, the co-hosts recapped how they spent their Thanksgiving holidays, and after Navarro shared her recap, Hostin hinted that she may compatible for none other than her own son.

Let’s get this out of the way early: Navarro is happily married and Gabriel Hostin is 21 years old. But neither of those factors stopped the panel from joking about pairing up the duo.

It all began after Navarro shared that she traveled to Panama last week, where she went swimming off the coast on Seabobs, a type of diving scooter.

The experience was a memorable one for Navarro, who exclaimed, “I want one in every color for my bathtub! It’s like the best thing.”

Her enthusiasm prompted Hostin to chime in, “If you were younger you really should date my son.”

Navarro, always quick with the comeback, replied, “Sweetheart, your son might want an older woman!”

As Hostin cracked up next to her, Navarro said, “Not me, but it might kill you,” as Hostin added, “That’s his favorite thing.” Unclear what his favorite thing is, but we’re going to guess she meant Seabobs?

The rest of the panel was somewhere between puzzled and uncomfortable, but Whoopi Goldberg reliably piped in to move the chat along. She began to ask, “But what did you—” but Navarro wasn’t done with her bit just yet.

She turned to Hostin and said, “If I live to see Gabriel with a cougar…” which brought more laughter from her co-host.

Goldberg, seizing the moment to wrap it all up before things got really weird, quipped, “How much time you got?”
