Where to Watch ‘Cold Feet,’ The 2018 German Christmas Movie

Everyone has a favorite Christmas movie. But while Americans are watching Elf and Brits are devouring Love, Actually, German film lovers are all about the recent 2018 German Christmas movie Cold Feet, aka Kalte Füße.

Directed by Wolfgang Groos, with a screenplay by Christof Ritter, Cold Feet stars German actor Emilio Sakraya, who is best known by Americans for his role in the Netflix series Warrior Nun. In Cold Feet, Sakraya stars as Denis, a lowlife who breaks into the winter cottage of a rich, elderly businessman (Heiner Lauterbach)… only to be mistaken for said business man’s new nurse. Oh no, what a quirky mix-up! Denis tries to play the part, but faking nursing credentials is no easy task. It sounds like everyone in this movie will need a healthy dose of the Christmas spirit in order to get out of this situation.

If you live in Germany and other select European countries, you can watch the Cold Feet movie on Amazon Prime by renting or buying a digital copy. The movie costs 3.98 euros to rent, or 3.99 euros to buy.

However, if you live in the United States, you will not be able to purchase Cold Feet on digital platforms. Unfortunately, the only (legal) option for Americans who want to watch the 2018 Cold Feet movie is to purchase a physical copy of the DVD or the Blu-ray, also available on Amazon, and pay for extra for overseas shipping. Luckily, the DVD only costs €7.99, or about $8.73. That’s not too much to pay for a copy of this hilarious movie that will last you years, right?
