Britney Spears Makes Dig At Jamie Lynn Spears’ ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here’ Comments: “I Never Start Fights”

Britney Spears has seemingly addressed her toxic relationship with her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who recently opened up about where she stands with the pop star on an episode of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

In an Instagram post, Britney shared a clip from The Aristocats in which Marie says, “Ladies do not start fights, but they can finish them.” The singer then captioned the post, “I never start fights but I can end them all 🎀 !!!”

While Britney didn’t name Jamie Lynn directly, her shady post came shortly after the latter opened up about their strained relationship on the British survival show.

“She’s a good big sister. She is. I love her,” Jamie Lynn told I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here co-star Sam Thompson, per Us Weekly. “Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what? Families fight. Listen — we just do it better than most.”

According to the Zoey 101 alum, she’s the “only one” in Britney’s life who has “never taken anything from her.”

“Me and her both have had a very complicated upbringing,” she added. “We’ve had very complicated circumstances and we both had to deal with them in different ways. And sometimes we took it out on each other when perhaps we shouldn’t have.”

The actress also revealed that they spoke before she joined the reality series — which also happened to be after Britney called her a “total bitch” in her bombshell memoir The Woman in Me.

“I think every family fights and has their stuff,” Jamie Lynn said. “But I talked to her before I came here and we love each other.”

Britney has never shied away from publicly calling her sister out in the past. Still, Jamie Lynn has always insisted that she was in full support of the singer — especially when it came to terminating her 13-year conservatorship.

“Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to with a hashtag on a public platform, but I can assure you I’ve supported my sister long before there was a hashtag,” Jamie Lynn wrote on Instagram in June 2021, per Us Weekly. “And I’ll support her long after. Note that.”

She continued, “I’m so proud of her for using her voice. I’m so proud of her for requesting new counsel like I told her to do many years ago. If ending the conservatorship or flying to Mars or whatever else she wants to do [will make her happy] — I support that, 100 percent. Because I support my sister. I love my sister. Always have, always will. As long as she’s happy. Let’s keep praying. That’s all.”
