Cynthia Nixon might be in need of a cosmo — or several. Following her appearance on Wednesday night’s (Nov. 29) episode of Celebrity Jeopardy, the Sex and the City star was skewered by viewers for failing to correctly guess the answer to an easy question.

Ahead of the Final Jeopardy round, Nixon — who competed against Cedric the Entertainer and comedian Heather McMahan — was in the lead. However, she soon made the mistake of wagering a large chunk of her earnings ($11,501 of her $19,700, to be exact).

Under the “Unique Buildings” category, the clue read, “Despite 17.5 miles of hallways, you can walk anywhere in this Virginia building within about 5 minutes, due to its concentric layout.”

Both Cedric and McMahan correctly guessed “The Pentagon,” while Nixon incorrectly answered with “VA Hospital.” The flub brought her score down to a mere $8,199, putting her behind both of her fellow competitors. In the end, McMahan left with a whopping $20,600 and advanced to the semi-finals.

Nixon’s lackluster performance on Celebrity Jeopardy came days after she vowed to go on a hunger strike until there is a ceasefire in Gaza, where Israel and Hamas have been at war since early October. The actress — who ran for Governor of New York in 2018 — further called on President Joe Biden to “make a ceasefire happen.”

Not only has the And Just Like That star been slammed on X (formerly known as Twitter) for her political stance when it comes to the war, but also for her major snafu on Celebrity Jeopardy.

“After seeing all the easy questions Cynthia Nixon missed on Celebrity Jeopardy, maybe it is a good thing she wasn’t elected Governor of New York,” one wrote, before another added, “Absolute proof that this ‘celebrity’ who sees herself as a political mover & shaker is a complete dope.”

A third person called Nixon “the same dingbat that’s going on a hunger strike,” while someone else asked, “How did #cynthianixon just answer the easiest final #jeopardy question in history incorrectly?”

Another said, “Celebrity Jeopardy is the only time I think celebrities are not better than us.”

Celebrity Jeopardy airs every Wednesday at 8/7c on ABC.
