Dylan Sprouse Was Reportedly “Body Shamed” By A Disney Exec “Of Significant Power” While Filming ‘Suite Life Of Zack And Cody’

Suite Life of Zack and Cody actress Kim Rhodes, who played the mother to Dylan and Cole Sprouse‘s characters, tearfully recalled a moment she had to stand up for one of her on-screen sons.

During a recent appearance on Christy Carlson Romano‘s podcast Vulnerable, Rhodes said Dylan was “body shamed” by a Disney executive on set.

“Dylan and Cole had different body types and in front of everyone Dylan was body shamed,” she told Romano.

She recalled through tears, “Someone of significant power came down to the craft service, which is where they have all the tasty food for all of those who don’t know, and screamed at the number of donuts and said, ‘No more junk food until he looks like him again.'”

The actress went on to say she “fucking lit into” the executive and defended Sprouse.

She recently shared another touching memory from working with the Sprouse twins on the show.

During another podcast appearance, Rhodes revealed that Dylan refused to say a “fat joke” that the writers wrote when she became pregnant during filming.

“One of my favorite memories is Dylan had a line that was a fat joke, and he just kept skipping over it. It was in the middle of a chunk of dialogue. So he kept skipping over this laugh line,” she said.

“Finally we get to in front of the studio audience, and he skips it. The executive producer screams ‘Cut,'” she said, before adding, “It’s the director’s job to cut by the way.”

According to Rhodes, “He goes, ‘Cut. Dylan, say the line.’ [Dylan] goes, ‘I would not disrespect any woman that way let alone this woman. You write something funny, and I’ll say it.'”

She proudly called Dylan and Cole “my little men,” saying they both “defended me all the way through.”

“That’s my little man,” she said about Cole.
