Josh Meyers exposed Demi Moore‘s “pretty high-level Hollywood flex” on the set of That ’70s Show, which cost them all another take of the finale.

On an episode of Sirius XM’s Podcrushed podcast that aired Wednesday (Nov. 29), Josh, who played Randy Pearson in 21 episodes of the hit Fox comedy, opened up about filming the “last scene” of finale, which was set during “New Year’s Eve 1979,” per Entertainment Weekly.

“It was a very hard scene for the cast to get through because they had done this show for so long, and it’s emotional when you get to the end of a show,” he explained. “People were crying. People were stumbling over lines. We kept having to reset. We kept having to have makeup come out.”

Although he was not in the scene, he noted that they “were finally getting it” and that they “had sort of hit a stride,” but recalled that “a phone rang.” He revealed that the call was coming from Moore’s phone; at the time of filming, she was married to one of the show’s stars, Ashton Kutcher. They later divorced in 2013.

“And she took the call!” he exclaimed. “And the director was like, ‘What?’ Her phone rang and she was like, ‘Yeah, hello?’ And we had to do it again.”

Josh described the whole moment as “really amazing,” adding, “I mean, no disrespect, Demi.”

Josh’s brother Seth Meyers, who was also featured on the podcast, chimed in to joke, “They didn’t have phones in 1979, so you gotta cut it out!”

Josh quipped, “It’s a pretty high-level Hollywood flex to take that call in that situation.”

He also opened up about the opposition he received from fans of the sitcom after he became the love interest of Laura Prepon‘s Donna Pinciotti in the eighth and final season, essentially replacing Topher Grace‘s beloved Eric Forman following Grace’s Season 7 exit to pursue other projects.

“There are people that I’ll run into and they’ll be like, ‘I hate you, you stole Eric’s girlfriend,'” he shared. “And I’m like, ‘No! His name is Topher, he went to go do Spider-Man 2, I didn’t steal anybody’s anything!”

Even Seth admitted, “And I should note, I am one of those people!”
