It looks like some Jeopardy contestants need to brush up on their classic rock knowledge. Following Wednesday night’s (Nov. 29) episode of the long-running game show, viewers scorched all three players for failing to answer a question about Led Zeppelin.

Under the “Discographies” category, contestants Henry Baer, Rhone Talsma and Nell Klugman were given photos of musical artists along with the title of one of their albums. When a $400 clue showed the Grammy Award-winning English band as well as their 1973 album “Houses of the Holy,” all three players were left puzzled.

The timer eventually ran out without one response, prompting host Ken Jennings to tell the group, “You have annoyed Led Zeppelin fans everywhere.”

Meanwhile, Jeopardy fans were shocked that the contestants were unable to identify original band members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham.

“Three champions on #jeopardy and none of them knew Led Zeppelin from a photo and ‘houses of the holy’ name drop,” one wrote. “ARE YOU KIDDING ME.”

Another added, “It was simply heartbreaking that none of them had a clue,” while a third user fumed, “NONE OF YOU IDIOTS ON JEOPARDY RECOGNIZED LED ZEPPELIN?”

Someone else asked, “What kind of horrible uncultured lives have these people lived?”

A fifth person posted, “I just experienced another striking revelation about how old I must be getting: My utter shock that none of the contestants on today’s Jeopardy episode could identify Led Zeppelin from one of their publicity photos.”

Wednesday night’s bunch of competitors weren’t the only ones who were stumped by a music question. Last month, Jennings was baffled when the contestants didn’t know the answer to a clue that read, “This country superstar’s ‘Friends in Low Places’ was named CMA Single of the Year in 1991.”

The correct response was Garth Brooks — and when no one buzzed in, Jennings joked, “Whoa, how soon we forget.”
