Jenna Bush Hager Says Hoda Kotb Has “Become Our Sex Guru” After Yet Another Steamy Discussion About Kissing On ‘Today’: “Go Ahead, Dr. Ruth”

The doctor is in! Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager launched into another steamy talk about making out on Today, prompting Bush Hager to crown her co-host the show’s official “sex guru.”

After watching a clip of Cher‘s recent interview on Chicken Shop Date that included a bit on the importance of kissing, Kotb launched into her own candid rant about intimacy in relationships.

“If someone gives you a weird kiss or they come at you open mouthed, no good,” she said. “But, a great kiss can even make someone who’s not especially — who you feel like maybe we’re not connecting — all of a sudden you’re like,’Wow, this is amazing.'”

She continued, “But I do feel like kissing can be taught. Because every single person in this room and every single person watching kisses differently. And when’s the last time you asked someone, how do you kiss? People don’t ask that question.”

Kotb later added that it’s like everyone is in their “own private Idaho, not knowing that maybe there might be a nicer way to kiss.”

Bush Hager listened attentively to her rant before commenting, “You know what I’m into, is that Hoda has become our sex guru, Hoda is taking on all the make-out material head on.” Kotb denied the comment, prompting Bush Hager to insist, “Yes, you are!”

“No, I’m not! But wouldn’t you rather just say to someone, ‘You know what would actually feel better, is if we did it like this?'” she replied.

Bush Hager didn’t appear to agree, saying, “Oh, I don’t know. I think if you have to do that with kissing, it’s tricky.”

When Kotb appeared as if she was deciding if she should say something else about the topic, Bush Hager said, “What were you going to say? No, go ahead, guru.” She then called her “Dr. Ruth,” referring to famous talk show host and sex therapist Ruth Westheimer.

Kotb instead changed the subject. “What are the kissing do’s and don’ts in your mind?”

“Not wet, soft is nice,” Bush Hager replied. “Sloppy is gross. Too lizard-y is not great.” She then noticed Kotb growing uncomfortable with the discussion now that she’d been deemed the “sex guru” of Today and joked, “Okay, should we move on? Dr. Ruth is getting uncomfortable.”

This isn’t the first time the Today hosts have gotten into a steamy conversation on the show. A recent broadcast got totally derailed after Kotb recounted a “sexy” encounter she had that had even Bush Hager fanning herself.
