    This Academy Award-nominated 2019 animated Christmas adventure comedy offers its own unique take on the origins of Santa Claus. Klaus takes place in 19th-century Norway, where a lazy and self-involved postman named Jesper Johansen (Jason Schwartzman) is sent to the remote island town of Smeerensburg with orders to post 6,000 letters within a year or else he’ll be cut off from his family’s fortune. Desperate to reach his goal, Jesper befriends a reclusive local toymaker Klaus (J. K. Simmons), forming a partnership that could bring newfound merriment and harmony to the frozen, feuding town.

Single All the Way follows Peter (Michael Urie), who hopes to avoid his family’s judgement about his ongoing singlehood by convincing his best friend, Nick (Philemon Chambers) to come home with him for the holidays and pretend that they are in a relationship. Things are then further complicated by Peter’s mom (Kathy Najimy), who wants to set him up on a blind date with her spinning instructor (Luke Macfarlane), leaving Peter feeling caught between two men.

    Last year’s charming Netflix Original Christmas rom-com starring Lindsay Lohan is still very much a must-watch on the platform this holiday season. Falling for Christmas revolves around Sierra Belmont (Lohan), a spoiled hotel heiress who gets in a ski accident with her vain influencer boyfriend, Tad (George Young), sending the two careening off different sides of a mountain. While Tad undergoes his own adventure in the wilderness, Sierra loses her memory and ends up in the care of single father Jake Russell (Chord Overstreet), who allows her to stay and help out at his small lodge as she tries to regain her memory in the days leading up to Christmas.

    This recently released Netflix Original title is one you’ve got to add to your seasonal streaming queue if you haven’t already. Best. Christmas. Ever! follows Charlotte Sanders (Heather Graham), who is envious and skeptical of the perfect life portrayed in the braggy annual newsletters from her old college friend Jackie Jennings (Brandy Norwood), especially when compared to her own average family and job. When a twist of fate puts Charlotte, her husband Rob (Jason Biggs) and their kids on the Jennings’ immaculate doorstep a few days before Christmas, Charlotte uses this as an opportunity to see if Jackie’s life is as wonderful as her newsletters claim.
