Julia Roberts is leaving no shroom for secrets, as she opened up about the “hardest drug” she’s ever tried.

The Leave The World Behind star was grilled by host Andy Cohen on Thursday night’s (Dec. 7) episode of Watch What Happens Live during the show’s “Plead the Fifth” game, in which guests are given three questions, only one of which they may “plead the fifth” to.

Cohen led off the game by asking Roberts who her “least favorite Real Housewife of all time” is, per The Daily Mail.

She hesitantly replied, “Oh, well… I’m gonna say, who went to prison?”

After Cohen asked if she meant The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah — who is currently serving time for taking part in a telemarketing scheme — Roberts confirmed, “Yeah, I’m just saying that because she’s in prison. And I feel safe.”

Cohen affirmed that Shah “can’t come after” Roberts for her response, then proceeded to ask her about “the hardest drug [she’s] ever tried.”

“Uh, mushrooms,” she replied.

After Cohen asked if she had a “positive experience,” Roberts told him, “it was nice.”

“Not gonna lie,” she added, before warning, “Kids, don’t try it at home!”

Roberts’ confession comes decades after her wide-ranging 1991 interview with Entertainment Weekly, in which she denied ever having a drug problem.

“It’s just absurd, you know. I don’t know how anybody who would do drugs could function,” she said at the time. “I don’t — nor have I ever done drugs — and I guess it’s boring to be sort of a young actor in Hollywood and not have a drug problem. Well, then, I’m boring, and that’s cool with me, because I’ve got clear skin and clean arms, and I’m just thin. Period. The end. Quit picking on me, you know.”

She added, “There were never any drugs. Never. That’s why it’s so absurd and frustrating. Why should I have to explain something that’s never been an issue in my life? But I’m forced to, because every paper in the country is writing that I’m a drug addict.”

Roberts’ new film Leave The World Behind is now streaming on Netflix. Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. Next-day streaming is available on Peacock.
