What Time Does Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen’s New Year’s Eve Special Start? Where To Watch Live
Gayle King was clued into Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen‘s friendship shenanigans while appearing on Monday night’s (Dec. 11) Watch What Happens Live After Show.
The Bravo host proposed the following fan question to the TV personality and known bestie of Oprah Winfrey, per Entertainment Weekly: “Oprah has long said that she’s wanted to get you high, since you’ve never had weed. What’s it gonna take for you, Oprah, and Andy to take some edibles?”
King then proceeded to earnestly ask Cohen, “Have you ever had edibles?”
Cohen, Cooper, and the audience burst into laughter, as King interjected, “I’m being serious!”
Cooper chimed in, “Do you mean like this hour?”
Cohen tagged onto Cooper’s quip, asking, “Do you mean today?”
“No, I’m straight today,” he continued, prior to joking, “You mean like last night?”
King then asked Cooper if he’s had edibles, to which Cohen interjected, “I’ve given him some occasionally.” Meanwhile, Cooper couldn’t contain his laughter.
“I’m gonna try it one day, I just haven’t,” King shared, while Cohen urged her to “call” him when she does.
Cooper finally told King “that doesn’t interest” him, prompting Cohen to appear suspicious of his answer. He teases, “This is me biting my tongue.”
Cohen and Cooper are joining forces once again as co-hosts of the upcoming New Year’s Eve Live special on CNN. However, Cohen recently made headlines for his push for the network to allow them to drink on air.
“I haven’t heard anything yet, but come on, they need to let us drink,” he told E! News, ultimately quipping, “Give the daddies some juice.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. Next-day streaming is available on Peacock. Watch a clip from Monday night’s after show above.
