Kelly Ripa Calls Out Mark Consuelos On ‘Live’ For Only Sending Her A “Picture Of A Speaker” During The Madonna Concert She Missed

This morning on Live with Kelly and Mark, Kelly Ripa was still “hung up” on missing the Madonna concert over the weekend, noting that “for the second time this month, [she] took to [her] death bed.”

However, her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos noted that he attended the concert without her, which he even admitted was “really weird.”

While Ripa was hoping for “a miracle” to occur in which she would feel up to attending the concert, she highlighted that her “bigger fear” was “what if [she] got Madonna sick.”

Consuelos didn’t soften the blow, explaining that their “seats were really good” and that Ripa “might have gotten her sick” if she went.

Ripa recalled telling Consuelos as he left the house to “send pictures,” and to “memorize the playlist and tell [her] everything” She ultimately showed the seemingly shoddy picture Consuelos sent her during the show, likening the situation to if she were to “take a picture of the four-yard line” while watching the Buccaneers play in the Super Bowl without him.

Consuelos chimed in, “I’ll let you tell your version, and then I’ll tell my version.”

Ripa proceeded to share that a friend of hers was also at the concert, sending her “videos of the actual concert in real-time.”

“So it was as if I was there,” she said. “And he’s like, ‘You should be here! Mark’s here!’ And I was like, ‘I know, he’s taking a picture of a speaker.'”

Consuelos refuted, claiming that he “started sending videos,” but kept receiving “message failed” notifications.

“Because there were so many people sending things,” he added.

Claiming he knew Ripa would “tell a story of how [he[ didn’t send her anything else,” he said that he “took a screen grab of it saying ‘message failed to send.'”

Ripa interjected, “Oddly enough, that picture went through! I was like, ‘Why is he sending me this weird screen grab of his phone?'”

Nonetheless, Consuelos noted that upon returning home, he sent her “181 photos and videos,” which Ripa even admitted were “amazing.”

“But then you wouldn’t have that story about how I’m this inept person to tell here in the morning,” Consuelos said.

Although Ripa pointed out that “during the concert, it was inept,” Consuelos got in one final jab.

“I know, but I was there to enjoy the concert,” he clapped back. “She was great by the way!”

Nonetheless, Consuelos assured Ripa they’ll “go to another concert” of hers, claiming he thinks that “Madonna missed” her.
