The View co-hosts have been sleighing Season 27 — and now, it’s time for them to take a short break. Luckily, we have you covered on everything you need to know about when they will be back from their holiday hiatus.

While Joy Behar was out with COVID her final week before winter break, the last time we saw Whoopi GoldbergSunny HostinSara HainesAna Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin was on Friday (Dec. 15), where they rang in the holiday season with the help of Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard.

So, why exactly is The View off the air today? When will it be back with new episodes?

Why isn’t The View on today?

The View is on hiatus this week and next week, with no new episodes airing from Dec. 18 through Dec. 29. The break comes just in time for Christmas and New Year’s, giving the co-hosts an extended leave to spend time with their loved ones.

When does The View return?

Since the ladies are on vacation for the holidays, it looks like The View won’t return until after the new year.
