If you’re a fan of Cobra Kai star Peyton List, we may have found your next streaming obsession: School Spirits.
Adapted from the upcoming graphic novel by Nate Trinrud, Megan Trinrud, and Maria Nguyen, the eight-episode YA series about the restless spirit of a teen girl stuck in the afterlife investigating her own mysterious disappearance originally premiered on Paramount+ in March 2023. But the popular supernatural drama has found a whole new audience after debuting on Netflix in November.
Currently boasting an 83% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes, the series was a hit with critics and fans alike, with Paramount noting that the show was its top YA series on the service during its run. Streamers who’ve already watched all eight episodes are left with one question: What about Season 2?!

Where To Watch School Spirits Online:
As we mentioned above, School Spirits originally debuted on Paramount+. While you can still watch all eight episodes on the streamer, the series was also added to Netflix on November 30.
Will There Be A School Spirits Season 2?
Yes! In June 2023, Paramount+ renewed School Spirits for a second season. Since the show is a Paramount+ original that was licensed out to Netflix in the United States, it’s unclear if the second season will be on Netflix.
Paramount most likely licensed the series to Netflix to attract more viewers before the second season eventually debuts on Paramount+. No official release date has been announced, but we expect School Spirits Season 2 to premiere on Paramount+ in 2024, with our best guess being fall or winter 2024.
The second season will most likely premiere on Paramount+ before potentially finding its way to Netflix a few months after its initial release. For reference, the Season 1 finale of School Spirits aired April 12 on Paramount+ and the series debuted November 30 on Netflix. It’s a strange streaming situation, but we’ll keep you updated with any additional info.
