Did Billy Crystal have “what she’s having?” As part of a CBS Mornings interview, the When Harry Met Sally star returned to Katz’s Deli for the first time since he filmed a particularly infamous scene from the 1989 rom-com there alongside his leading lady Meg Ryan.

Speaking to co-host Gayle King, the recent Kennedy Center Honoree exclaimed that he hadn’t been there “since [they] actually shot the movie,” as they entered the iconic lower East Side institution, per Deadline.

When they reached the counter, King said she wants to “have what Sally had that day,” which Crystal clarified, “You’ll have what she’s having.”

Once they sat down, King eventually asked, “What do you think, Billy, that people come from all over the world just to sit at this table for something you did?”

Crystal replied, “It’s an amazing phenomenon that this has touched people, and this little piece of history here in New York City — you know, the movie was 1989.”

The aforementioned scene — for those who have somehow never seen it by now — involves Crystal’s Harry Burns and Ryan’s Sally Albright enjoying lunch at Katz’s. When Harry argues that no woman has ever had to fake an orgasm with him, Sally pretends to have an orgasm in the middle of the deli to prove him wrong.

In terms of how he feels about the film now, Crystal claimed that “it’s actually more important as time goes by.”

“Because people fall in love everyday,” he continued. “People fall out of love everyday. People find each other, they lose each other, everyday. And new generations keep finding When Harry Met Sally, and we’re forever young in that movie. And we represent them, they relate to us.”

Ryan spoke to Crystal’s talents at the Kennedy Center Honors earlier this month, and of course teased him about the fake orgasm scene.

“I’ve actually never been around anyone who made faking an orgasm easier,” she quipped. “So thank you, Billy.”
