When Do New Episodes of ‘Percy Jackson’ Release? Full Episode Guide For The Disney+ Series

The new Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians premiered its first two episodes on December 19, 2023, and has left viewers wanting more.

Based on Rick Riordan‘s hit series of novels, the show follows the titular character as he travels across America to return Zeus’s thunderbolt and stop a war among deities.

Walker Scobell leads the cast as Percy Jackson, alongside Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood.

With a total of eight episodes, the series features an all-star supporting cast, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Megan Mullally and the late Lance Reddick.

“After losing his mother, Percy is sheltered at Camp Half-Blood, a sanctuary for demigod children. He must prove himself and confront his origins once he discovers he too is a demigod, and will take off into the perils of pursuing enemies in search of the Underworld,” reads the synopsis for the show.

Author Riordan serves as the co-creator and executive producer, alongside Jonathan E. Steinberg, best known for his work on Jericho.

The books were previously adapted into a two-film series, which premiered in 2010. Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson starred as the core trio.
