A holiday weekend is upon us, and if you’re looking for something new to stream, Saltburn is now available on Prime Video exactly one month after hitting theaters.
Saltburn is the second film from Oscar-winning screenwriter and director Emerald Fennell. It follows Oliver (Barry Keoghan, Golden Globe-nominated for his work in the film), a down-on-his-luck Oxford scholarship student who becomes infatuated with rich, hot, and popular Felix (Jacob Elordi). The two become friends over a year at school, and eventually Oliver is invited to spend the summer at Felix’s family estate, Saltburn.
Saltburn also stars Rosamund Pike (who also received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance), Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, and Carey Mulligan.
Since premiering at the Telluride Film Festival in September, Saltburn has been divisive with critics and audiences alike. The “eat the rich”-style class satire holds a 72% on Rotten Tomatoes, which aggregates and averages reviews.
