Pat Sajak Hit Back With A Snappy Diss When ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Contestant Criticized A Puzzle: “It’s A Puzzle You Didn’t Solve”

Sassy Pat Sajak strikes again! The longtime Wheel of Fortune host was quick to clap back at contestant Jill Ashe when she criticized a puzzle that she failed to solve earlier this week.

In a clip shared on the show’s social media Tuesday (Dec. 26), Ashe and Sajak are shown introducing her Bonus Round puzzle.

“You had a puzzle that you think you should have solved, and you didn’t,” Sajak says in the clip, causing Ashe to laugh. “And then she blamed me during commercial.”

The clip then shows Ashe attempting to solve a puzzle in the category, “What Are You Doing?”

With just a few letters on the board, Ashe struggles to correctly guess the three-word phrase.

“You’re not going to get a whole lot of help. In fact, that is it. And it looks tough for me,” Sajak tells her. “Maybe something will pop into your head.”

With just ten seconds left on the clock, Ashe attempts to solve the puzzle, but is unable to correctly guess the answer, which is revealed to be, “Voicing Our Opinion.”

Ashe laughs when the answer was revealed and says,”What kind of puzzle is that?”

Sajak swiftly responds, “It’s a puzzle you didn’t solve.” Brutal!

He then opens the prize envelope to reveal that Ashe missed out on $40,000 in prize money, though she still managed to go home with $27,680.

This is far from the first time Sajak has teased a contestant on the air. He recently called a contestant “a downer” after she gushed over her new hobby.
