Summer was anything but fun for Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke, whose relationship problems were put on full display in the bombshell Summer House Season 8 trailer.

The nearly three-minute-long teaser opens with Radke admitting to Hubbard that he’s “not happy” and doesn’t think she’s happy either, while also accusing her of needing to have “the power over the other person” in a relationship.

The former couple’s end-of-summer breakup conversation continues as Radke tells Hubbard she’s “really gifted at playing the victim,” prompting her to go into the other room and call her dad to inform him that the Loverboy employee wants to “call off the wedding and break up.”

Meanwhile, Radke seemingly tells producers that he thought she would “react a little differently” to his decision.

“She’s gonna spin this and tell everybody she’s blindsided,” he speculates, before the camera cuts to Hubbard saying, “I feel very blindsided.”

According to Radke — who says he is “fine” being the “bad guy” — his now ex-fiancée has only been blind to the “things that have gone on in the last year.” And a rewind to the months leading up to their split appears to confirm that things weren’t great between the two.

In one scene, Hubbard and Radke argue after she allegedly accuses him of “doing drugs” even though he was more than two years sober at the time, making him question, “That’s the person I’m supposed to marry?”

Other clips show Hubbard celebrating her bridal shower and speculating that she might be “pregnant” by next summer, although, a seasoned minister later tells Radke that he “wouldn’t marry [him] and Lindsay. “

Much to our surprise, Hubbard and Radke are hardly the only couple dealing with issues in the upcoming season of Summer House.

Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have it out with each other not long after Ciara Miller tells Batula she doesn’t have “an identity” outside of her husband.

“You don’t like it when I have a stance on something,” Batula says during an argument, to which Cooke replies, “Your stance is bullshit.”

And despite being “happily in love,” it looks like Bravo power couple Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover are still struggling with taking things to the next level — which is likely because neither wants to relocate.

“You won’t compromise on anything!” DeSorbo yells at the Southern Charm star.

Excited yet? I know we are!

Summer House Season 8 officially premieres on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. The first seven seasons are currently streaming on Peacock.
