On the heels of Lily Gladstone‘s Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama win at the 2024 Golden Globes, three nominations at the upcoming SAG Awards, and a nomination at the DGA Awards, Killers of the Flower Moon is about to make its long-awaited streaming debut.

The latest film from Martin Scorsese, which was named one of the 10 best movies of the year by AFI, is inspired by the nonfiction book of the same name by David Grann. Set during the Osage Reign of Terror, a period where Osage people were being murdered for their headlights (essentially, the right to receive and own oil-rich land), Killers of the Flower Moon looks at one family in particular that became a target.

Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Ernest Burkhart, who marries into the Kyle family — specifically to Gladstone’s Mollie — at the urging of his uncle William King Hale (Robert De Niro) around the time Mollie and her sisters become targets.

The epic film currently holds a 93% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and Decider’s John Serba recommends you STREAM IT, stating it’s “another indispensable work from one of the modern masters”
