Ana Navarro Compares Sara Haines To Her Dog On ‘The View’: “You’re Both B*tches!”

It looks like Ana Navarro is still holding a grudge after Sara Haines snubbed her dog Cha-Cha in The View‘s 2023 Pooch Pageant. On this morning’s episode of the hit daytime talk show, Navarro got fiery when Haines claimed Cha-Cha is “sweet”… unlike her owner.

The conversation started when Joy Behar read a poll revealing that two-thirds of Americans believe their pet is a four-legged version of themselves, with 38% saying they share personality traits and hobbies and 34% claiming they share physical characteristics with their dogs or cats.

Sunny Hostin jumped right in to compare her dogs to herself, telling the panel, “We have similar personalities. They’re very glamorous. They’re high-achievers. And they’re winners, as well,” referring to the competitive pageant that might have been “too soon” to bring up, as Alyssa Farah Griffin joked.

Meanwhile, Behar quickly pointed out that her dog Bernie “went after those two big mutts,” making him just as feisty as the red-headed comedian.

While Haines confirmed that Behar, Griffin and Hostin share similar traits with their dogs, she wasn’t so sure that Cha-Cha was an exact match with Navarro.

“What’s your excuse, Ana? Because Cha-Cha is Sara Haines,” she said, before explaining, “Cha-Cha’s sweet. She jumps into bags, she smiles, she comes and greets everyone. I would not describe you in the same way in the morning.”

An unamused Navarro then swiftly clapped back, “Cha-Cha is like you in that you’re both bitches!”

Luckily, there were no hard feelings as Haines immediately broke out into laughter.

The duo’s little scuffle came one month after Haines named Hostin’s dogs the winners of the show’s first-ever Pooch Pageant instead of Cha-Cha. Navarro clearly wasn’t thrilled with the outcome as Haines revealed weeks later that hadn’t “heard the end of it” and joked that she was being “harass[ed]” by the co-host ever since.
