A new season of the surprise reality hit The Traitors is here, and another batch of Bravolebrities are smack down in the middle of Peacock’s ultimate murder mystery game. Mercedes Javid (Shahs of Sunset), Tamra Judge (Real Housewives Of Orange County), Phaedra Parks (Married to Medicine), Larsa Pippen (Real Housewives Of Miami) and Sheree Whitfield (Real Housewives Of Atlanta) are among the 21 players ready to identify the Traitors while keeping the Faithfuls safe. To stop themselves from being sniffed out, the Traitors will murder the Faithfuls one by one under the cover of darkness. If the Faithfuls complete their mission and banish all the Traitors, they will split a prize pot worth up to $250,000. However, if even one Traitor is left standing, they will keep all the money for themselves.

In the first season, icons like Kate Chastain (Below Deck), Brandi Glanville (Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills), Kyle Cooke (Summer House) and Reza Farahan (Shahs of Sunset) shook up the proceedings by employing controversial strategies and creating general chaos. Chastain made it the farthest, keeping the Faithfuls on their toes with her directness, bold personality, and her alliance with Glanville. As Bravo fans know, alliances are a key element of the Bravoverse. Many Real Housewives rely on their friends to have their backs, no matter how wrong (or hopefully right) they may be in certain situations.

“We have some type of camaraderie,” noted Pippen. The star described her fellow Bravolebrites as “family,” and confirmed that she had their backs at all times. “I definitely would never have banished, if I didn’t have to, any of the other Real Housewives,” said Pippen. In the game where the objective is to banish fellow contestants in hopes to suss out the Traitors, that’s huge. To Pippin, “sisterhood” was an important aspect of the game.

Whitfield admitted she needed her fellow Bravolebrities’ support. “Nothing prepares you for going to play a game like this in Glasgow, nothing,” she said. Whitfield confessed she felt a false sense of readiness because she came from “a reality show where a lot of drama and a lot of shade occurs.” Even though the “cattiness and deception” Whitfield observed from her fellow RHOA cast members helped her in the long run, she did admit that she made a few missteps in the game. “Once we get a little further, you’ll see I make a crazy mistake,” Whitfield teased.

While Judge gushed about Whitfield (“She’s always been there for me since I’ve known her”), she was determined to stop Real Housewives Of Atlanta alum Parks from making what she felt like was an error in the game. “At one point, I told her to her face, ‘It’s really crazy you don’t talk about the game at all to any of us,'” remembered Judge. “As soon as I brought that up to Phaedra, I noticed she started being more vocal,” noted Judge.

Parks wasn’t offended when Judge offered an opinion on her gameplay. “Bravolebrities are usually very outspoken and opinionated,” said Parks. “We don’t shy away from a fight,” she added. While Parks made a lot of friends in the castle, she always was most loyal to girls. She revealed that Real Housewives run either “hot or cold” in particular situations because “there’s no such thing as a lukewarm Housewife.”

While it’s a pleasure for viewers to watch their favorite Bravolebrities interact with each other and team up across franchises, The Traitors is a different opportunity for fans. “I wanted to be on the show because it was nominated for an Emmy,” said Judge. She knew it was “a different platform for people to see me in a different light, like my season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”

Whitfield agreed with Judge. “I wanted to do something different,” she began. “I had not done any other shows other than RHOA and certainly nothing with a competitive element.” While “stepping outside [her] comfort zone,” Whitfield was surprised that her experience on The Traitors has only spurred her to look for opportunities outside of the Bravoverse. “I’m like, what’s next?” Whitfield, and her fellow cast mates can rest assured, wherever they go next, we will be watching!
