Here’s everything we know about the upcoming movie:

WHERE TO WATCH I.S.S.:

As of now, the only way to watch I.S.S. is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, Jan. 19. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon.

WHEN WILL I.S.S. BE STREAMING? WILL I.S.S. BE ON PRIME VIDEO?

Yes, I.S.S. will eventually be available to rent or buy on digital platforms like Prime Video. While a release date has not been announced yet, we can make an estimate based on another movie that was distributed by Bleecker Street.

Golda, which came to theaters on Aug. 25, officially came to Prime Video on Sept. 19 — about three weeks after it first premiered. If I.S.S. follows a similar trajectory, it could become available to rent or purchase as early as mid-February 2024.

UPDATE 3/8/24: I.S.S. became available on digital platforms on Feb. 6.

WILL I.S.S. BE ON HBO MAX?

No, I.S.S. will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.

WILL I.S.S. BE ON NETFLIX?

No, I.S.S. will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. While it’s possible the film may come to the streamer at some point in the future, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available on digital platforms in the meantime.
