Fans of The White Lotus may have wondered what happens to Meghann Fahy‘s Daphne Sullivan character after her eventful stay at the White Lotus Resort in Sicily that involved a dead body being found in the water.

Speaking to Deadline at the Sundance studio over the weekend, Fahy simply says: “She keeps doing what’s she’s doing.”

In Season 2 of the series, Fahy portrays the free spirit wife of Cameron Sullivan (Theo James). Together, they play mind games with the Spillers, who are played by Will Sharpe and Aubrey Plaza.

While Fahy said that Daphne will not be appearing in Season 3 of the series, which is set in Thailand, she left the door open for a future return.

She says that the show’s creator Mike White has an idea for a future episode that would involve the Sullivans, as well as the newlywed couple from the Season 1, the Pattons, played by Alexandra Daddario and Jake Lacy.

“He (Mike White) did once say that he’d like to do an episode with Theo, me and the couple from the first season – Alex and Jake,” says Fahy. “The four of us on a boat. Just one episode of that.”

Season 3 of the series, which has been delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes that took place last year, is not slated to premiere until 2025.

The cast of the upcoming season features Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Miloš Biković, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris and Natasha Rothwell (who appeared in Season 1).

Schwarzenegger’s character will reportedly be involved in finance and Hook’s character will be somewhat of a misfit.
