Monday Night Raw has found a new home for 2025. Netflix will begin streaming Raw and other WWE events in 2025 under a new $5 billion deal, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Raw will be leaving the USA Network for Netflix, where it will stream live every Monday night for 52 weeks a year in the United States, UK, Canada, and Latin America. Other territories will reportedly be added over time. This marks Netflix’s next big step into live programming and sports.

Mark Shapiro, president and COO of WWE parent company TKO, called the deal “transformative” in a new statement.

“It marries the can’t-miss WWE product with Netflix’s extraordinary global reach and locks in significant and predictable economics for many years,” he said. “Our partnership fundamentally alters and strengthens the media landscape, dramatically expands the reach of WWE, and brings weekly live appointment viewing to Netflix.”

This is a 10-year deal, after which Netflix will have the option to extend the agreement another 10 years. The streaming giant will also have the option to exit the agreement after five years.

“We are excited to have WWE Raw, with its huge and passionate multigenerational fan base, on Netflix,” said Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria. “By combining our reach, recommendations, and fandom with WWE, we’ll be able to deliver more joy and value for their audiences and our members. Raw is the best of sports entertainment, blending great characters and storytelling with live action 52 weeks a year and we’re thrilled to be in this long-term partnership with WWE.”

Other premium WWE content such as Wrestlemania will continue streaming on Peacock in the United States. However, the new deal gives Netflix the rights to streaming outside of the country.

TKO cut other deals regarding premium events. WWE Smackdown will air on the USA Network in 2025 and NXT will air on The CW.

This will not be the streaming giant’s first foray into live programming. Chris Rock‘s latest comedy special Selective Outrage aired live on Netflix in March 2023, complete with pre and post-show coverage featuring other comics. The streamer also attempted to livestream the Love is Blind Season 4 reunion, though it suffered from some technical difficulties.

As THR notes in its reporting, the deal will also expand Netflix’s sports programming and advertising possibilities.
