Siblings Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson opened up about their celebrity family during a recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live, where they revealed that Kurt Russell has had multiple run-ins with criminals and “serial killers.”

Kate said that Russell — who has been in a relationship with their mother Goldie Hawn since 1983 — is an “interesting man” who somehow “always finds himself in some sort of scenario.”

Oliver added that Russell is somehow “always crossing paths with killers. Like, serial killers.” He said, “Actually, he was on camera when O.J. Simpson drove into his house. He was in the driveway. You could see him on KTLA, like, ‘Huh? That’s dad!’ I was like, ‘What is he doing there?'”

Kate explained to host Jimmy Kimmel that they happened to be in the area watching the NBA Finals at a friend’s house when the program was interrupted by Simpson’s car chase.

“It was the big chase… O.J. was on the 405 [freeway] and Kurt all of sudden just went, ‘Oh, he’s going home,'” she said. “Next thing you know, he gets in the car and he leaves and he goes to O.J.’s house. I don’t know why! Just to see what happened, you know? And we’re all like, ‘Where are you going?’ He’s like, ‘I’ll be right back.’ And then he goes with his friend.”

She said they soon saw him “on television behind the caution tape.”

That’s not all. Oliver also mentioned that Russell has also crossed paths with Ted Bundy and some of Charles Manson‘s gang, though Kate interjected to comment that she “might not believe either of those stories.”

“There’s grains of salt all over the place,” Oliver admitted.

The infamous car chase took placed on June 17, 1994, two days after Simpson’s wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman were found murdered in her home. The football player was expected to turn himself in, but he instead took off in a white Ford Bronco, sparking a two-hour police chase.

Simpson was later acquitted of the charges in 1995, but a civil suit filed in 1996 by the victims’ families ultimately found him liable for their deaths.
