Carl Radke would like the record to show that he did not fall asleep for the entire duration of his flight aboard Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s private jet — despite the model’s claims.

Teigen recently opened up on an episode of Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live about running into the Summer House star at Sundance Film Festival and inviting him to hitch a ride back to New York City with her and Legend.

“It was really funny actually, because John was seated already and then Carl came on and John was still sitting, like, he didn’t pop up to give him a big hug or anything,” Teigen said of Radke’s initial interaction with her husband. “Carl so graciously came over. He was like, ‘Hey man, I just want to say thank you so much. I love you.’ It was so sweet.”

Unfortunately for Teigen, she didn’t get the scoop on the upcoming eighth season of Summer House — or Radke’s shocking split from ex-fiancée Lindsay Hubbard — because he passed out “immediately.”

However, Radke remembers things a little differently.

“To set the record straight, I was awake for about 45 minutes to an hour,” he tells Decider. “We did have a very nice conversation. John and Chrissy are so lovely and so generous to let me, you know, ride back with them.”

He adds, “Unfortunately, it was a red-eye flight. I’m not, like, one of those guys that stays up late and gossips until two in the morning with my girlfriends. Even though that would have been the right moment to do it.”

According to Radke, he talked to the couple about his sobriety journey and BravoCon — though he “wish[es]” he chatted “more about Bravo stuff” with the network superfans.

Meanwhile, his co-star and Loverboy boss Kyle Cooke says he would’ve asked what was going through the singer’s mind when he wrote his 2013 hit “All of Me.”

“Well, John’s only question — actually his real pointed question — he was like, ‘How are you and Kyle doing?’ Which I actually was like, ‘John, we’re doing really well,'” Radke recalls, before Cooke chimes in, “What a legend!”

Summer House Season 8 premieres on Thursday, Feb. 22 on Bravo.
