Jenna Bush Hager Bizarrely Describes Her And Hoda Kotb’s Beds As “Matronly” While Envying Sofia Vergara’s Bedroom On ‘Today’: “My Bed Has Large Rolls And Pulls Me In”

Not all beds are built the same. Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb were gushing over Sofia Vergara’s California home, as seen in the recent tour she gave for Architectural Digest, on a recent episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna.

But the co-hosts noticed one key difference between how Vergara talks about her bed and nighttime routine and how they talk about theirs.

“This is her bedroom, and what she says of her bedroom is that it’s where good times happen, and she finds her bed very sexy,” Bush Hager explained as they showed clips of the actress’ personal bedroom.

She and Kotb then gushed over how Vergara decorated her bed before launching into a detailed explanation of what kind of pillows they like to sleep with, making for some riveting daytime television. Bush Hager noted the direction the conversation was heading in and joked, “Do you like how [when] Sofia Vergara talks about her bed, it’s sexy, and we talk about it just straight up practical?”

Kotb began to laugh as she replied, “Because that’s how we are!”

Bush Hager continued, “Her bed is sexy, our bed is matronly,” to which Kotb corrected, “Our bed is for sleeping” — not for the sexy “good times” Vergara described, apparently!

“Her bed is wearing a negligee and some tights and our bed is wearing a long sleeve flannel,” Bush Hager joked.

She then told Kotb, “Do you ever have that feeling where you’re like, it’s 4 o’clock and instead of thinking… to embrace those I love when they come home from school, all you’re thinking is, ‘I cant wait to get into bed.'”

She added, “I just cant wait until that matronly woman embraces me. My bed has large rolls and pulls me in.”

Kotb then asked Bush Hager about the kind of mattress she uses, to which Bush Hager responded, “I can’t believe we’re still talking about this.”
