‘Live’ Guest Dakota Johnson Confesses That She “Just Learned” Co-Hosts Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos “Are Married”: “I Have So Many Questions About That”

You really do learn something new everyday — even if that info is old news. Dakota Johnson stopped by Live with Kelly and Mark this morning, where once seated alongside Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, she revealed something she only recently learned about the two co-hosts.

“I just learned that you guys are married,” she confessed.

Surprised, Ripa asked, “You just found that out?”

While the Madame Web star claimed she’s unaware as to how she wasn’t clued into this widely known piece of intel, Consuelos joked that she must have picked up on the “chemistry” between them while watching the couple backstage.

Meanwhile, Ripa asked if her mother (Melanie Griffith) was the one to break the news, to which Johnson replied, “I don’t know!” Nonetheless, Johnson was intrigued.

“I have so many questions about that,” she said, but Ripa assured her that they’ve “got answers.”

Specifically, Johnson expressed curiosity surrounding “how much time [they] spend together,” quipping, “This interview’s about you!”

Ripa shared that “the only time” that she and Consuelos “really spend together” is on Live, noting that they “have really separate lives outside of” the show.

Johnson teased, “And after the show, you’re like, ‘Don’t look at me.'”

Ripa and Consuelos jokingly agreed, as the latter iterated that they “see each other at dinner.”

This might remind viewers of when Ripa was under the false impression that Wheel of Fortune‘s Vanna White was married to her longtime co-host, Pat Sajak.

“For years, I mean, I think I speak for a lot of people, I thought you and Pat were married,” Ripa admitted to White during her October 2023 Live appearance. “Imagine my surprise when Pat came to our house for dinner one night —”

Consuelos interjected, “And you weren’t there!”
