Jonathan Majors has been accused of abuse and inappropriate conduct nearly two months after he was found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend.

Speaking with the New York Times, Emma Duncan — who was engaged to the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star from 2015 to 2019 — claims he emotionally and physically abused her throughout their relationship, recalling specific incidents where he allegedly choked her, threw her around and bruised her.

“You lose your sense of worth,” Duncan, an actress, told the outlet of her ex-fiancé, who allegedly isolated her from her support system.

In a pretrial statement obtained by the Times, Duncan detailed a 2016 argument she and Majors had while driving in the car, where Majors allegedly “threatened to strangle and kill her.” His lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, confirmed that there was an argument, though he denies threatening to strangle and kill Duncan.

In another instance, Duncan confronted the actor about text messages between him and another woman she found on his Apple Watch, which he then threw out a taxi window. When she started packing her things back at the hotel, Majors allegedly “pushed Ms. Duncan into the couch and began to choke her.” He then reportedly stated, “I’m going to kill you,” before throwing “her body across the room” and telling her, “I’m going to make sure you can’t have children.”

Chaudhry told the outlet that “this did not happen,” noting that they “had many serious arguments” and Majors is now “choosing to take responsibility for his own part in that toxic relationship, focusing on himself, and addressing his lifelong depression.”

Another ex-girlfriend, Maura Hooper, an actress Majors dated from 2013 to 2015, also claims she was emotionally abused by the Creed III star. After becoming pregnant a few months into their relationship, Majors dropped her off at an abortion clinic and did not return to pick her up. Out of fear that he would not be happy if she told anyone about their situation, she decided to walk herself home.

Chaudhry said the former couple agreed that Hooper would find a different ride home so that they both wouldn’t have to miss rehearsal. However, Hooper countered that they were not in the same show at that time.

After they had broken up, Majors learned that Hooper had briefly dated someone he knew, prompting him to allegedly call her a “whore,” and tell her, “I hope you die; kill yourself,” via phone call. He also reportedly said, “I’m going to rip you out of my heart the way they ripped our baby out of you.”

Chaudhry told the Times that Majors “regrets saying hurtful things in that moment but does not recall the specific things he said.”

Aside from his romantic partners, Majors’ former colleagues claim he had a history of volatile behavior on set of HBO’s Lovecraft Country, where three female co-workers complained to the network following alleged confrontations with the actor. His lawyer said “countless” women in the Hollywood industry “can attest to his professionalism.”

In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of reckless assault and harassment following a separate incident with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The actor, who faces up to 12 months in prison or probation, will be sentenced in April. His lawyers are currently pushing for the judge to throw out the jury’s guilty verdict, per Vulture.
