The Suits cast is returning to the courtroom — well, some of them are, although a certain paralegal is missing.

E.l.f. Cosmetics released its 2024 Super Bowl commercial ahead of the big game on Sunday (Feb. 11), which brings together some of television’s greatest courtroom characters, per People.

In the recently released commercial, Judge Judy takes on the role of Judge Beauty, as Suits stars Rick Hoffman and Gina Torres face off in court over makeup matters. Meanwhile, fellow Suits alum Sarah Rafferty portrays a court reporter, pretending to type away on a typewriter.

Jury Duty‘s beloved Ronald Gladden also makes an appearance as a member of the jury, as well as RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Heidi N Closet, comedian Benito Skinner (a.k.a. “Benny Drama), and singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor, all of whom have been summoned for “jury beauty,” per a teaser released last week. Sports analyst and former football star Emmanuel Acho also appears as a bailiff.

While her Suits co-stars showed up for the ad, Meghan Markle was noticeably absent, just as she wasn’t present for the cast’s reunion at the Golden Globes last month. While debriefing with Variety on the red carpet about the cast’s “text thread” ahead of the awards show, Torres revealed that she and her castmates “don’t have” Markle’s phone number.

“We just don’t, so, she’ll see,” she shared. “She’ll watch. She’ll be happy that we’re here.”

Last November, Markle commended the show’s surge in popularity, arguing that “good shows are everlasting” in a separate interview with Variety.

However, Markle is certainly not the only Suits star missing from the new ad. Co-stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams were also not featured, both of whom presented the Golden Globe for Best TV Series – Drama alongside Torres and Rafferty in January.

Deadline previously broke the news that Suits showrunner Aaron Korsh was working on a new show also set in the universe of the hit legal drama, per the New York Post. Last week, People reported that NBCUniversal has secured a pilot of Suits L.A., which will be directed by Victoria Mahoney and will feature a different cast.
