Former Good Morning America hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach appear to believe they’ve been blacklisted by the show’s parent company.

The couple, who recently hosted former Bachelor Matt James on their podcast Amy and T.J., chatted about running and Disney parks with their guest, who said he and his girlfriend may compete in a Disney 5K.

While telling Holmes and Robach about his passion for running, James said, “I am going to run the London Marathon. I am going to try to get [my girlfriend] Rachael [Kirkconnell] into a race — the Disney 5K. She loves Disney, so any way to entice her into not being mad about me buying so many running shoes.”

Robach and Holmes, who are both also passionate runners, joked that they didn’t think they would be allowed to join him for that particular race.

“We would love to run with you down at that 5K. I don’t think we are allowed on the park’s grounds anymore,” Holmes said. “We will check. Last we checked, we weren’t.” He and Robach — who both technically worked under Disney as employees of ABC, shared a laugh as he made the claim.

ABC and Disney did not return Decider’s request for comment regarding Holmes’ claim.

Holmes and Robach were fired from GMA3 in 2023 after the co-hosts were caught openly dating one another while married to other people, though they claimed they were both separated from their respective partners at the time.

The lovers revealed on their podcast that they had both drafted statements clarifying that they were both in the final stages of their divorce when they became romantically involved. But they claimed they never released the statements because they were more focused on keeping their jobs before they ultimately got the ax.

During another episode of their podcast, Holmes and Robach openly expressed that they feared ABC would retaliate against Sara Haines (a co-host on the network’s talk show The View) for standing by them during the scandal, which they called a “year of hell.”

“One of the people who started and wouldn’t stop texting me even when I didn’t respond? Sara Haines, she was an absolute pleasure,” Robach revealed.

Holmes then joked that ABC is “probably going to fire her” for showing them support.

Robach noted that Holmes was worried “being connected to us might also bring you down.”

She added, “Honestly, for someone who still works at that network to keep checking in, keep calling, to actually be seen in public with me, that is a statement, that is something. It shows incredible support.”
