Jessica Capshaw will return as Arizona Robbins for Season 20 of Grey’s Anatomy.

Capshaw last appeared on the ABC drama series at the end of Season 14 before moving to New York City so that her daughter Sofia could be with both of her parents.

The network announced the news at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena on Saturday, adding that she is set to appear in one episode according to Variety.

Also returning as a guest star is Alex Landi, who’s played orthopedic surgeon Nico Kim since Season 15.

Natalie Morales and Freddy Miyares were also announced as guest stars. Morales will make her series debut as Monica Beltran, “a pediatric surgeon whose pragmatism and level-headedness have made her one of the best in her field” according to her character description.

Miyares, who is also making his debut on Grey’s, will recur as Dorian, who is “an intelligent, warm and likable patient who is involved in a serious accident and is struggling with his future.”

Fans are likely most interested in Capshaw’s return as Arizona since she and Sarah Drew were both let go from the series before Season 15. Although we don’t know exactly when Capshaw will appear during the season, ABC has announced that Season 20 will premiere on March 14.

Capshaw first appeared in the medical drama in Season 5 and was only commissioned for a three-episode arc. She ended up staying on board for the remainder of the season, however, and ended up becoming a series regular in Season 6.

Arizona is one of the first lesbian characters in a leading role on network television. She makes up half of the super couple nicknamed “Calzona” with partner Callie Torres (Sara Ramírez).

Upon her departure from Grey’s Anatomy, Capshaw shared that Arizona “was one of the first members of the LGBTQ community to be represented in a series regular role on network television. Her impact on the world is forever.”
