One of the reasons that Season 2 of The Traitors has been so compelling is the fact that there are several people on the show with real-life relationships and history. The 21 contestants who entered Alan Cumming‘s spooky Scottish castle are not just competing as individuals, they’re working alongside longtime friends, like Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks, or longtime rivals, like The Challenge‘s Trishelle Cannatella and CT Tamburello.

But the one relationship that seemed the most indestructible this season was the romantic partnership between Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan. But sadly, today it’s being reported that the pair might have banished one another from their lives, because the couple have unfollowed one another on Instagram, where Pippen has posted a series of cryptic stories referring to her “ex.”

Pippen, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Miami, arrived to The Traitors with Jordan by her side, but by the third episode, traitors Parks, Dan Gheesling and Parvati Shallow decided to “murder” Jordan, whose leadership and observant nature were considered a threat.

In the very next episode, Pippen couldn’t convince her fellow competitors that she was trustworthy, and so they banished her from the game, making her the first of the Housewives contingent to go.

This weekend, Pippen all but confirmed that she and Pippen are not together after she posted an Instagram Story that said, “The man you choose to be your partner affects everything in your life. Your mental health, your peace of mind, your love inside you, your happiness, how you get through tragedies, your successes, how your children will be raised and much more. Choose wisely.”

She then posted a poll asking, “Should your friends unfollow your ex?”

The fact that the two have now unfollowed one another comes as a shock to all of us who watched them on The Traitors, but perhaps we’ll learn more about their status and the truth will be revealed when the show airs its reunion special in a few weeks.

The Traitors is now streaming on Peacock. New episodes premiere Thursdays at 9/8c ET. The cast reunion premieres March 7.
